Account Manager | Event Tech
Southampton (Hybrid - 2-3 days in office)
£45,000-£55,000 + Commission

In a fast-moving industry, our client stands out for doing more than just providing software - they partner with clients to make events work.
This is not a passive account management role.
This is for someone who can retain, grow, and actively develop high-value client relationships in a fast-moving event tech business.
Following a strong start to the year, driven by industry shifts, mergers, and increased demand, the business is scaling its commercial team and investing heavily in growth across both new business and enterprise accounts.
The Role
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of key clients, with responsibility for renewals, growth, and long-term account development.
We're looking for people who show loyalty and progression, not frequent job-hopping.

The Role
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of key clients, with responsibility for renewals, growth, and long-term account development.
- Managing accounts with significant annual spend (£600k+ with £1M+ potential)
- Leading renewals, quarterly reviews, and client strategy conversations
- Driving upsell and expansion opportunities across your portfolio
- Building multi-threaded relationships across client organisations
- Working closely with new business and enterprise teams to support wider growth
- Maintaining a high-touch, proactive communication style (calls, video, in-person - not just email)
- Proven experience in account management, client success, or commercial roles
- Strong relationship builder with a commercial mindset
- Someone comfortable with outbound activity and proactive client engagement
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex client relationships
- A growth mindset - ambitious, coachable, and looking to develop
