Key Account Assistant | Exhibitions
Exhibition Design & Build Company
Northamptonshire (office based, Monday to Friday, occasional UK and international travel)

Our client is a well-established exhibition design and build company with over 40 years of creating stands and live events experiences that people remember. They're known for thoughtful, well-crafted work and long-standing client relationships. One of those clients is a flagship global hospitality brand that exhibits at major trade shows in Dubai, Singapore, mainland Europe and the UK. That account is getting busier, and it needs one consistent, brilliantly organised owner across every show. That's where you come in.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the day-to-day engine behind a key account that runs around eight major exhibition stands a year. A typical stand is around $250k, and some go well over $1 million. You'll work alongside the Account Director and take each project from the first brief through quotations, design approval, fabrication, installation and handover. You'll join weekly calls with the client's marketing and events teams in the UK and US. You'll also coordinate project managers, suppliers and contractors, and keep stand approvals, service orders and H&S paperwork on track with the ops team. Routine calls on artwork, specs and approvals are yours to make. Pricing and big commercial decisions stay with the Account Director.
Behind the scenes, you'll keep budgets, pipelines and scope changes spot on in Excel. You'll also polish pitch decks, proofread proposals and research trade show activity. The role is office based, Monday to Friday, with around five trips a year to exhibitions in the UK and abroad. Over time there's real scope to take on more key accounts and eventually run your own.

What You'll Bring
- 2 to 3+ years' coordination or project management experience in exhibitions, live events, exhibition design and build, or an event agency or organiser
- A working knowledge of stand specs, finishes, rigging and venues, and how an exhibition build comes together
- Advanced Excel: formulas, budgets and dense data kept clean
- Strong PowerPoint skills with a good eye for layout
- Excellent written English and zero tolerance for typos or numerical errors
- A calm, organised and client-focused approach, and a real desire to look after clients brilliantly
- Up to £45,000

- International travel to shows in Dubai, Singapore, Europe and the UK
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
