Vacancy: Senior Venue Account Manager (AV Services)
Location: Olympia International Convention Centre
Salary: £42,500 - £47,500 (depending on experience)
Package: Up to £55,000 with commission and bonus

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the brand-new Olympia International Convention Centre, opening in March 2026. As Senior Venue Account Manager, you will lead and manage the on-site AV team in a cutting-edge venue featuring the latest large-format LED screens and advanced event technologies.
The Centre will host a wide range of events, including corporate conferences, gala dinners, and sporting events, each requiring innovative technical production and exceptional client service.
This role requires a strong blend of leadership, creativity, and technical expertise to ensure clients receive the best possible solutions within their budgets. Success will come through your ability to build trusted relationships with clients and the venue's events team, deliver high-quality AV experiences, and contribute to the Centre's growing reputation as a premier event destination.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the on-site AV team to ensure efficient resource use and high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the venue's sales and events teams to provide expert AV advice and support during client consultations and site visits.
- Develop creative technical solutions and produce detailed proposals and quotations that enhance the client experience.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all technical requirements are met for each event.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with the venue's in-house teams and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and service excellence.
About You
You are a proactive and motivated professional with strong presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills. You are confident developing client-focused AV solutions and managing teams to deliver them successfully.
We're looking for someone with:
- Current experience as a Live Events AV Account Manager or Venue AV Manager.
- Proven success in selling and delivering AV solutions to event clients.
- Previous hands-on experience as an AV Technician (in-house, with an AV company, or freelance).
- Strong understanding of corporate and live events.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferred).
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
