Business Development Manager (Event Tech)
Location: UK (Fully Remote)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (pro rata, 30 hours) + OTE £65,000

The Role
This is a high-impact, fully remote Business Development role combining product expertise with consultative sales.
You will be responsible for building new business relationships across event organisers, agencies, and stakeholders, demonstrating how the platform solves real operational challenges within the events space.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the realities of delivering events and wants to move into a tech-led, commercial position.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across exhibitions, conferences, and event agencies
- Build relationships with event organisers and key stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and communicate ROI
- Convert inbound leads and generate outbound opportunities
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and share market insights
- Proven new business sales or commercial experience
- Background in the events or exhibitions industry
- Strong communication and consultative selling skills
- Ability to build relationships with event organisers and stakeholders
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Must be based in the UK
- Experience within event technology or SaaS (not essential)
- Understanding of exhibitor management, operations, or event delivery
- Candidates from events looking to move into tech
- Candidates from SaaS/tech with strong relationship-led sales skills
- £40K-£50K pro rata base salary + OTE £65K
- Fully remote working (UK-based)
