Senior Technical Project Manager (Lighting Bias) - Live Events
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (flexibility required for evenings/weekends)

The Role
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will take ownership of high-profile and technically complex live events, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding results.
With a strong background in lighting design and systems, you'll play a key role in shaping creative solutions, guiding teams, and ensuring seamless integration across lighting, audio, and video disciplines.
You will also act as a senior figure within the team, mentoring others, supporting development, and maintaining high standards across all project delivery.

You will also act as a senior figure within the team, mentoring others, supporting development, and maintaining high standards across all project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex live event projects
- Interpret client briefs and develop innovative, practical technical solutions
- Act as a senior client contact, building strong and lasting relationships
- Produce accurate proposals, budgets, and technical documentation
- Oversee system design, particularly within lighting, ensuring high-quality execution
- Lead, coordinate, and motivate technical teams across multiple projects
- Manage on-site delivery, ensuring seamless integration of all technical elements
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance, mentoring, and feedback
- Adapt to evolving project requirements while maintaining delivery standards
- Has 6+ years' experience in live event production, with a strong lighting focus
- Has proven experience in lighting design and technical system delivery
- Possesses a solid understanding of audio, video, and related event technologies
- Is confident managing complex, high-value projects end-to-end
- Has strong leadership and team development experience
- Is commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and client expectations
- Is highly organised, adaptable, and solutions-focused
- Has excellent communication and client-facing skills
