Technical Specialist - Video (Corporate Events)
We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist - Video to support the delivery of high-quality live events.
This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and management of small to large-scale audiovisual systems, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction at every stage.

- Collaborate with project and production teams to design and implement video systems that meet event briefs
- Support resource planning to ensure the right personnel are allocated effectively
- Produce and maintain accurate technical drawings using Vectorworks
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in event schematics and documentation
- Assist with pre-production planning, including media server and switching workflows
- Operate advanced video switching systems for large-scale events (e.g. multi-switcher environments)
- Design and deploy complex projection systems using industry-leading equipment
- Lead multi-screen LED display builds and processor configurations
- Manage and delegate tasks across large projects to ensure timely delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently during live events
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security procedures
- Deliver a high standard of service, exceeding client expectations
- Build and maintain strong client and venue relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve optimal event outcomes
- Supervise and support technicians onsite
- Mentor and coach team members to develop technical and leadership skills
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment
- Oversee technical execution across pre-event, live, and post-event phases
- Lead onsite teams to ensure smooth event delivery
- Support the preparation, transport, and maintenance of technical equipment
- Assist with inventory management and forecasting future equipment needs
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a relevant technical specialty (video/AV)
- Experience with large-scale live event environments
- Strong knowledge of video systems, switching, projection, and LED technologies
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or client-facing roles preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams and perform effectively under pressure
