Job description

Senior Project Manager - Remote (UK-based)
Location: Remote (occasional travel, approx. 5 days per month)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

About the Company

Disrupt Talent is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a long-established and respected business within the exhibitions and display industry, specialising in modular exhibition stands and bespoke glass display cases.

With over 30 years of heritage, the company has evolved into a digitally driven, consultative business working with clients worldwide. As one of the UK's few remaining glass display case manufacturers, they hold a strong market position, combining technical expertise, creative design, and exceptional client service.

Operating as a boutique consultancy, the company focuses on long-term partnerships, attention to detail, and tailored solutions that set them apart from larger, transactional competitors.

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a forward-thinking, close-knit team that values autonomy, flexibility, and quality of life.

You'll manage exhibition and display projects from initial enquiry through to on-site delivery, coordinating designers, contractors, and logistics partners across the UK and internationally.

The role suits someone with experience in the exhibitions or display sector, who understands both modular and bespoke builds, and is comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects. You'll bring strong organisational skills, commercial understanding, and a hands-on approach - ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

The position is fully remote, with travel required for site visits and installations (around five days per month during busy periods). The company promotes trust and flexibility, empowering employees to manage their own time and workload effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and delivery of multiple live projects each month.
  • Coordinate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients across various sectors.
  • Provide expert advice on materials, build methods, and international logistics.
Team & Supplier Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams and freelance consultants to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Manage remote and international suppliers, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to refine delivery processes.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure every project meets company standards for detail, documentation, and compliance.
  • Oversee logistics, installations, and site operations with professionalism and precision.
  • Maintain clear communication through digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
About You
  • Proven experience in exhibition, modular stand, or display project management.
  • Strong commercial and budgeting experience, including managing P&L responsibility.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experienced in managing suppliers, contractors, and client relationships.
  • Comfortable working remotely while maintaining accountability and communication.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.
  • Culturally aligned - you value integrity, teamwork, and long-term relationships over quick wins.
Why Join
  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

  • Flexible working culture based on trust and autonomy.
  • Join an established, stable business with over 30 years of industry heritage.
