Junior Technical Production Manager
Location: Swindon
Salary: £30000 - £34000
Driving licence required

Our client is looking for a Junior Technical Production Manager to support the delivery of small and medium-sized live events. This is an excellent role for someone with technical events experience who's ready to take the next step and manage projects from planning through to on-site delivery.

The Role

Manage technical elements of events, from build to operation and de-rig.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, venues, and internal teams.
Oversee technical crews on-site, ensuring schedules and standards are met.
Prepare technical plans (CAD layouts, set schematics, H&S documentation).
Book and manage equipment through Hiretrack; support budget control.
Prepare estimates/quotes in Procim and log accurate timesheets.
Carry out site visits and stakeholder briefings.
Support virtual and hybrid events (e.g., uploading content, sharing briefings).
Assist with general project and office tasks when needed.

About You

Minimum 3 years' experience in live events.
Strong understanding of AV equipment across audio, video, lighting, LED, and streaming.
CAD knowledge (Vectorworks/SketchUp) beneficial but not essential.
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
