Marketing Manager International Exhibitions & Events Portfolio

Coventry (Office-Based, 1 WFH Day Option)

Salary: £40,000 + 10% Performance Bonus

About the Role We are hiring a commercially focused Marketing Manager to lead marketing delivery across an international portfolio of B2B exhibitions and live events.

This is a hands-on role suited to a marketer who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and taking clear accountability for delivery and results.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director and working closely with the Exhibition Manager, you will drive visitor acquisition, support exhibitor engagement, and ensure marketing activity directly contributes to commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities Campaign Ownership

  • Deliver end-to-end visitor and exhibitor marketing campaigns
  • Execute multi-channel marketing plans aligned to commercial targets
  • Manage campaign timelines to ensure activity is delivered on schedule
  • Support conference, feature and partnership marketing initiatives
Digital & Performance Marketing
  • Plan and execute segmented email marketing campaigns
  • Manage CRM-driven communications and database growth
  • Own paid media campaigns across Meta and Google
  • Implement and optimise SEO activity
  • Manage website updates and landing pages via CMS
Commercial & Budget Accountability
  • Manage marketing budgets efficiently and responsibly
  • Optimise campaigns to improve visitor quality and acquisition efficiency
  • Support partnership marketing and media collaborations
Reporting & Optimisation
  • Track, analyse and report on campaign performance
  • Identify optimisation opportunities and act quickly
  • Provide clear performance reporting and commercially relevant insights
Experience & Skills Required
  • 5-8 years' experience in a well-rounded marketing role
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns independently
  • Strong experience in email marketing and segmentation
  • CRM management experience (Salesforce or similar)
  • Paid media management (Meta & Google Ads)
  • Solid understanding of SEO
  • Experience managing marketing budgets
  • Confident managing website updates via CMS
  • Proficient using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT or equivalent) to enhance content creation, campaign efficiency and reporting
  • Strong data interpretation skills with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Experience coordinating with external agencies or media partners
  • Confident representing the business in face-to-face meetings with partners, exhibitors and stakeholders
Exhibition, conference or live events experience is advantageous but not essential.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally for on-site event delivery may be required.
