Project Manager - Events & Exhibitions
Location: Ringwood
Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time (hybrid)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager. This role is operationally focused and ideal for someone with hands-on project experience in events or exhibitions who thrives in a close-knit, communicative office environment.
You will manage projects end-to-end-from planning and budgeting through to onsite delivery-while maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Create detailed project schedules covering timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the day-to-day operational contact for clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Technical Review: Interpret drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy (CAD not required).
- Project Delivery: Oversee the operational delivery of up to five projects per month, maintaining high standards and detail.
- Onsite Management: Attend exhibitions for build, delivery, and breakdown-particularly when account leads are managing multiple events.
- Supplier & Venue Relations: Build strong relationships with venues, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Communication: Maintain clear internal updates and reporting throughout the project life cycle.
- Risk & Quality Assurance: Anticipate risks and ensure consistently high-quality project outcomes.
What We're Looking For Essential
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally in exhibitions or events
- Strong operational experience, including onsite delivery
- Excellent client communication and professional phone manners
- Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage fast-paced workloads and tight deadlines
- Proficiency with project management tools (Teamwork implementation from Jan 2026)
- Proactive, positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Project management certifications
- Experience with custom and modular stand builds
- Awareness of sustainable and eco-friendly build practices
- Creative thinking and ability to contribute innovative ideas
