We're looking for a proactive and technically minded AV Technician with a particular focus in Video systems and LED display technology to support the delivery of outstanding live events, installations, and projects.

Role Requirements

• Support day-to-day warehouse, logistics, and technical preparation operations.
• Test, maintain, repair, and configure LED video wall panels and associated video equipment.
• Prepare, maintain, and de-prep AV, video, LED, and IT equipment for live events and installations.
• Assist with the preparation and configuration of video processing systems, signal distribution equipment, and display technologies.
• Deliver small to medium equipment hires locally and support on-site installations and removals.
• Carry out a range of warehouse tasks while supporting logistical and operational requirements.
• Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure equipment is event-ready and maintained to the highest standard.
• Collaborate with management to uphold quality standards, processes, and best practices across video and AV operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse, technical prep, and LED testing areas, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Lead and assist with the preparation, testing, and de-preparation of AV, video, and LED equipment alongside event technicians and project managers.
• Configure and test LED video wall systems, ensuring panels, processors, and associated equipment are functioning correctly prior to deployment.
• Support the setup and breakdown of LED displays, video systems, and stage sets in line with project requirements and company standards.
• Safely load and unload vehicles, managing equipment deliveries and collections professionally.
• Rig and de-rig AV, video, and LED equipment to a high standard, often working within tight event schedules.
• Conduct first-line fault finding and maintenance on LED panels, video equipment, cables, hire stock, and IT equipment; coordinate external repairs where required.
• Assist with video signal routing, screen management, and system testing to ensure successful event delivery.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team to understand workloads, project priorities, and equipment requirements.
• Support the general upkeep of the building and ensure compliance with relevant operational processes.
• Follow all health and safety policies and internal procedures.
• Take on additional tasks within your skills and experience, demonstrating versatility and commitment across AV and video disciplines.

Mobility Requirements

Primary Location: Coventry
Overnight Travel: Not typically required
National Travel: Approximately 10%
International Travel: Approximately 5%

Additional Information

• A valid driving licence is essential.
• Previous experience with LED video wall systems, video equipment, or live event technology would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of video processors, signal flow, display technologies, and fault finding is desirable.
• Some out-of-hours work will be required.
• Occasional overnight stays may be requested, though this is not typically expected.
