Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of all events.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and site access, including installs and de-rigs.
- Oversee maintenance, venue readiness, and presentation standards.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Attend site meetings and client walkthroughs to discuss event requirements.
- Provide clear communication and proactive solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Support with budgeting, invoicing, and cost control for venue-related activities.
- Manage supplier coordination and ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management as required.
- Proven experience in venue or event management, ideally within a live events or exhibitions environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive, can-do approach.
- Comfortable working hands-on - from planning and logistics to physical event coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and calm under pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as event schedules require.
- Confident liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams at all levels.
