Our client manages a portfolio of high-profile venues and partners with leading brands and organisers to deliver seamless, high-quality events. With a focus on operational excellence, health & safety, and client service, they continue to set the standard for premium venue delivery in London.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a hands-on Venue Manager to take responsibility for one of their key London sites, leading daily operations and ensuring the successful delivery of a diverse range of events.

About the Role
The Venue Manager will oversee the full operational management of a busy London venue, ensuring every event runs smoothly from planning through to delivery.

This is a hands-on and highly visible position, balancing client interaction, operational coordination, and on-site leadership. You'll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every event meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of all events.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and site access, including installs and de-rigs.
  • Oversee maintenance, venue readiness, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Attend site meetings and client walkthroughs to discuss event requirements.
  • Provide clear communication and proactive solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
  • Support with budgeting, invoicing, and cost control for venue-related activities.
  • Manage supplier coordination and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and updates for senior management as required.
About You
  • Proven experience in venue or event management, ideally within a live events or exhibitions environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive, can-do approach.
  • Comfortable working hands-on - from planning and logistics to physical event coordination.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and calm under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as event schedules require.
  • Confident liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams at all levels.
