Business Development Manager
Location: London, Hybrid
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Bonus
We are recruiting on behalf of a Global AV and Production solutions provider within the events sector for an experienced Business Development Manager.
This is a newly created role with one clear objective: driving new business growth. The successful candidate will focus exclusively on identifying, developing, and securing new client relationships across the UK and wider EMEA region.

As Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of prospecting and securing new opportunities across corporate and agency markets. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop sales strategies, improve lead generation activity, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across key markets
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Develop strategic sales plans to increase market presence and brand awareness
- Lead outbound business development activity including networking, prospecting, and client outreach
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Collaborate with marketing and wider sales teams to improve lead generation and sales effectiveness
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
- Support the development of sales best practices, processes, and customer engagement strategies
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new commercial opportunities
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels
We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially focused business development professional with a strong track record of winning new business.
You will ideally have:
- 5+ years' experience in business development, sales, or account acquisition roles
- Proven success in generating and converting new business opportunities
- Experience working within events, hospitality, technology, or related sectors would be advantageous
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams
- A strategic and proactive approach to sales growth
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Salary up to £65,000
