We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established live events production specialist with an outstanding reputation in the corporate events sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AV Project Manager or a Senior AV Technician ready to step into a more commercially focused, project-led role.

The Role

This is a pivotal position acting as the bridge between technical delivery and commercial objectives, with responsibility for planning and delivering seamless live events from concept through to on-site execution.

You'll take ownership of technical production across a wide range of corporate events including conferences, congresses, exhibitions and awards shows, with a strong focus on LED and integrated AV solutions.
Success in this role will be defined by the delivery of technically flawless, well-managed events that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and oversee technical, scenic and LED installations, including rigging, on-site delivery and safe de-rig
  • Act as a technical authority, advising Account Managers on complex production requirements
  • Produce technical drawings, schematics, cable calls and floor plans
  • Support client development and pitches alongside Account Managers
  • Calculate and plan crew, logistics and transport in collaboration with Operations
  • Contribute to the development of LED training programmes
  • Produce and maintain health & safety documentation
  • Stay up to date with emerging AV, LED, rigging, power and safety technologies
About You

You'll be a technically confident, calm and organised professional who thrives under pressure and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish.

Essential experience and skills:
  • Extensive background as a live events AV technician, ideally with strong LED experience
  • Proven end-to-end technical project management in live events
  • Solid understanding of event power, cabling, rigging and H&S
  • Ability to calculate lens throws, lighting angles, speaker dispersion, power draws, weight loads and sightlines
  • CAD capability (Vectorworks or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A-Levels minimum (relevant degree preferred)
Desirable:
  • Experience with virtual or hybrid events and streaming platforms

Working Pattern

This role supports live events, so flexibility is key. The majority of work takes place weekday daytime, but some evening and weekend work will be required. This is not a 9-5 role, but flexibility is offered in return.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary + generous commission and bonus scheme
  • Private medical insurance
  • EV car scheme
  • Season ticket loans & free railcard
  • Flexible working hours
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Buy/sell holiday scheme
  • Bike to Work scheme
  • Contributory pension

If you're passionate about live events, technically strong, and ready to play a key role in delivering high-profile corporate productions, we'd love to hear from you.
