THE ROLE

Location: Midlands base + extensive worldwide travel

For over a decade, our client has delivered cutting-edge AV technology across Formula 1, working directly with teams and F1 partners to elevate hospitality suites, paddocks, garages and factory environments across all 24 races per year.
Beyond F1, they deliver high-end production for concerts, festivals, theatre, conferences and corporate events, supporting iconic venues including Southbank Centre, Barbican and Sadler's Wells.
Now, due to major project growth, they're adding a Video-led AV Technician to the team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
This is a hands-on, front-line role where you'll design, install, operate and troubleshoot advanced video systems in some of the most exciting environments on the planet.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
This is a hands-on, front-line role where you'll design, install, operate and troubleshoot advanced video systems in some of the most exciting environments on the planet.
You will:
- Design, build and operate custom video playback and distribution systems
- Install and manage LED walls, video walls and projection systems
- Operate video in live show environments including F1 paddocks and corporate hospitality
- Integrate and manage signals using NDI, SDI, DANTE and fibre networks
- Work closely with clients, production teams and F1 partners on site
- Lead and support on-site installations worldwide
- Feed back post-event insights to continually improve systems and workflows
- Collaborate with the wider team to explore and implement new technology
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential:
- Strong experience in video systems within live production or events
- Confident operating shows under pressure
- Experience with media servers and live video switchers, including:
- Pixera, Green Hippo, Blackmagic, Resolume, vMix
- Solid knowledge of LED walls, including rigging, cabling and Novastar processors
- Strong networking knowledge, including managed networks and fibre
- Experience with Netgear AV Line switches
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex, integrated systems
- Understanding of broadcast and visual effects workflows
- 5+ years' experience across events of varying scale and complexity
- Working knowledge of lighting and audio
- Confidence overseeing full technical delivery on a project
