  • Design and specify technical production solutions, including preparation of CAD drawings (Vectorworks / AutoCAD)

  • Deliver events across a range of budget scales, up to £250k+
  • Update and manage event data within a Rental Management System (e.g. Current RMS, Easyjob, InSpire)
  • Book, schedule, and manage crew and technical resources (line management not required)
  • Produce crew documentation and ensure clear technical communication
  • Liaise with venues, performers, suppliers, agencies, and other third parties
  • Prepare and manage health & safety documentation and compliance
  • Oversee on-site technical delivery, troubleshooting as required
  • Hands-on operation, rigging, or de-rigging of equipment where appropriate (advantageous but not essential)
  • Support business development by identifying new opportunities and promoting technical services
  • Travel within the UK and occasionally internationally for site visits and event delivery
  • Support wider project and operational teams as required

Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the professional live events industry
  • Proven experience delivering technical production for live events, including larger-scale shows
  • Strong understanding of all core AV disciplines (Video, Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Staging, Power Distribution), with advanced expertise in at least one area
  • Experience designing, qualifying, and quoting technical event solutions
  • Demonstrable experience managing project budgets and P&L
  • Proficiency with Rental Management Systems such as Current RMS, Easyjob, or InSpire
  • Strong drafting and technical drawing skills using Vectorworks and/or AutoCAD
  • Experience working with a range of client types including agencies, corporate clients, direct clients, and venues

  • Experience coordinating and leading teams (without direct line management responsibility)
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Strong commercial awareness alongside a client-focused mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
