Location: Wimbledon
Salary: £28,000 per annum + 40% of basic as commission
Status: Full-time / Permanent
Working Hours: 08:45 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
Reports to: Sales Manager
About the Role
Disrupt Talent is recruiting on behalf of one of the largest exhibition organisers for a Sales Executive to join their thriving sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to sell exhibition space and sponsorship across a market-leading portfolio of events.
The successful candidate will focus on driving new business and nurturing long-term client relationships, contributing to the continued growth and success of the company's exhibitions. This role offers a vibrant, fast-paced environment with excellent travel opportunities across the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sell exhibition stand space and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct a minimum of 60 calls / 90 minutes of daily outbound activity.
  • Deliver a monthly sales target of £15,000.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Arrange and attend client meetings to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals that effectively communicate value.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the full sales cycle to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Plan and prioritise sales activities to support long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive awareness and participation in events.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within exhibitions, events, or media.
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven and self-motivated with a proactive approach to new business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
