The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Designer who is passionate about spatial and experiential design and is motivated by the opportunity to move the creative needle.

You will play a leading role in shaping creative concepts for exhibition stands and experiential environments, working from initial idea generation through to client presentation and project handover. Collaborating closely with Sales, Account, and Project teams, you'll ensure concepts are both creatively ambitious and commercially viable.

The role operates on a hybrid model, with two days per week office-based in Southampton to encourage collaboration, creativity, and design development. Accommodation is covered for candidates travelling 50+ miles to the office.

This position suits a confident, ideas-led designer who enjoys influencing creative direction while remaining hands-on with design delivery.
Key Responsibilities Creative Concept & Design Development

Lead creative concept development for bespoke exhibition stands and experiential environments
Translate brand objectives into engaging spatial experiences
Produce high-quality 2D and 3D designs and visualisations using Vectorworks and 3D Studio Max
Present design concepts and visuals to internal teams and clients

Collaboration & Commercial Awareness

Work closely with Sales, Account, and Project teams to develop deliverable design solutions
Ensure designs align with budgets, timelines, and build feasibility
Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback into evolving design concepts

Innovation & Creative Leadership

Stay informed on trends in experiential, spatial, and exhibition design
Introduce fresh ideas, materials, and approaches to elevate creative output
Contribute to shaping and refining the overall creative direction of the business

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in spatial, experiential, or custom-built environment design
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and built projects
Advanced proficiency in Vectorworks and 3D Studio Max
Solid understanding of spatial design principles and construction methods
Commercial awareness and understanding of cost implications in design-led projects
Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
